Mamuke was founded by Mrs. Esnart Kazhingu, an experienced educator and community leader, to address the lack of quality early education for children in her community.
$80 provides for the education program and the nutrition program for one child for one month. Children are given all learning materials, uniforms and a nutritious hot meal every day.
There are 40 children in the program each year. So far 120 children have received a program with 40 currently enrolled.
Children typically transition to Year 1 in local schools. Thanks to the skills they develop at Mamuke, they are well-prepared and readily accepted into school programs, gaining opportunities that might not have been available to them otherwise.
Mamuke has purchased land and is now in the design phase for a purpose-built facility, with construction anticipated to begin in 2025.
If you wish to visit the program please contact us. There are many opportunities, especially for people with relevant specialist skills.
We have experienced speakers who would love to visit your church or group. We can also create a custom video presentation to suit your needs if that is more suitable.
